1. Legal guarantee of conformity

All products carry the legal guarantee of conformity granted under Romanian Law no. 449/2003 and GEO no. 140/2021, which transpose Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods:

• 24 months for consumers (natural persons);
• 12 months for legal entities.

The period runs from the date the product is delivered. The legal guarantee is free of charge and cannot be limited by contract.

2. What the guarantee covers

A product is considered non-conforming if, among other things, it:

• does not match the description, type, quantity or quality agreed;
• does not match the configuration (material, finish, colour, dimensions) chosen at the time of ordering;
• is not fit for the normal purposes of goods of the same type;
• shows defects in materials, workmanship or assembly;
• was not delivered with the agreed accessories and instructions.

3. What you can ask for

In the event of non-conformity you are entitled, in this order, to:

1. Bringing the goods into conformity by repair or replacement, at your choice, free of charge and within a reasonable time.
2. If repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate or does not resolve the problem: a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.

All costs of bringing the goods into conformity — transport, labour, materials — are borne by us.

4. Burden of proof

Any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within the first year after delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, without you having to prove it.

5. What the guarantee does not cover

• Normal wear resulting from ordinary use.
• Damage caused by improper use, impact, overloading or unsuitable storage.
• Damage caused by excessive humidity, prolonged sun exposure or direct heat sources.
• Interventions, modifications or repairs carried out by persons not authorised by us.
• Natural variations in shade, texture and grain of solid wood, veneer, leather or natural fabrics. These are characteristics of the material, not defects.
• Normal dimensional movement of solid wood caused by changes in room humidity.

6. Care recommendations

• Keep relative humidity between 40% and 60%.
• Avoid direct contact with water; wipe up spills immediately.
• Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not use solvents, abrasives or alcohol-based products.
• Do not place hot objects directly on surfaces; use protective mats.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.

Failure to follow these recommendations may void the guarantee for the defect so caused.

7. How to make a claim

1. Write to contact@aristocollection.ro or open a request from your account.
2. State the order number, describe the problem and attach photographs.
3. We reply within 5 working days with the proposed solution and, where needed, arrange collection.
